Become a volunteer

Volunteers are the core of our organization. Here are some of the ways you can help as a volunteer:

  • Sewers: Mask Makers are responsible for assembling the masks according to CDC guidelines, using the kits we provide. No matter your level of experience with sewing, you can help hand-sew or machine-sew masks.

  • Transporters: Drivers serve a critical and vital role in our work flow, and follow strict physical distancing rules when collecting kits from mask makers, or when delivering them to organizations. 

    • We are currently in urgent need of a new driver in Washington, DC. Please apply if you are interested in this volunteering role!​
